Ruth Julien, 94, died Friday, July 12, 2024, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of declining health. Born and raised in Dame-Marie, Haiti, daughter of the late Timothee Auguste Julien and Augustine Augustin (Calypso) Julien, she came to the US in 1995 and settled in Hyde Park. She was a resident of Stoughton for the past 29 years. She was a dedicated member of the Church of the Last Word in Abington. In her free time, she enjoyed reading the bible and singing. Her most cherished times were when she was surrounded by her beloved family.
Ruth was the mother of Pierre Julien of Stoughton, Marie St. Victor of Brockton, Suzy Bien-Aime and Eugene Herod Julien, Yves-Joseph Julien all of Haiti and Rose-Michelle Julien and Carole Mont-Louis of Canada and the late Rosevelt Julien and Marie May Julien. She was the sister of Yvanne Julien and the late Augusta Julien. Ruth was the grandmother of Nehemie Jean-Baptiste, Roody Julien, Jansen Desir Julien, Herley Desir Julien, Pierre Rodney Julien, Serge H.C. Julien, Jonathan Julien, Gabriella Julien, K'Iannely Julien, Joan St. Victor, Debbie Love Fernand, Fatima C. Julien, Kemina I. D. Julien, Jovinsky Julien, Rebecca Joseph, Manaica Francois, Christopher Francois, Ruth Julien. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Emmie, Ethan, Mikaelle, Liam, Noelia, Raeya, Loic, Liam and Lisa.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 5-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the New Evangelical Baptist Church, 871 N. Main St. Randolph on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 8:30 AM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
