Ruth A. (Galvin) Boyle, 83, died Monday, July 4, 2011, at her home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard J. Boyle. Born and raised in West Roxbury, she was a graduate of Roslindale High School. Mrs. Boyle was a longtime resident of Canton, before moving to Stoughton over 13 years ago.
She was the loving mother of David R. Boyle of Whitinsville, Thomas C. Boyle and his wife Cindy, Richard J. Boyle and his wife Lisa all of North Attleboro, Susan M. Linnane and her husband Michael of Medford, Nancy J. Welde and her husband James of PA and Janet M. Crimmins and her husband Barry of Stoughton. She was the sister of Mary Norton of W. Roxbury. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and her cousin Katherine Mulvaney of Weymouth.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday, July 8, at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Canton Corner Cemetery, Canton.
