Royal E. Mann

Royal E. Mann, 79, a longtime resident of Randolph, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. He was the husband of 52 years of Alice J. (Samowski) Mann. Born in Randolph, he was raised and educated in Randolph and was a graduate of Stetson High School in Randolph. He was also a graduate of Wentworth Institute. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Mann was a resident of Easton for the past two years, previously living his entire life in Randolph. He worked as an Electronics Engineer for Dynisco in Norwood for many years, retiring at age 65. Previously, he was a Vice President at Minelco for many years. A lover of classical music, in his free time, he enjoyed reading, bowling, fly fishing and traveling, especially to Hawaii and London.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Deborah M. Garner and her husband Steven of Brockton, Royal J. Mann and his wife Nancy of Mansfield and Robert L. Mann and his wife Kimberly of Easton. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, June 22, at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
