Rose T. Urciuoli, 102, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died at home on Wednesday, February 27. She was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Antoinette Urciuoli. Born in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton schools. Rose was a textile worker for JW Wood in Stoughton for many years. She was a founding member and Past President of the Minerva Lodge in Stoughton. She was also a member of the Mass. Catholic Women's Guild at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Rose was a longtime volunteer at New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. In her free time she enjoyed traveling and had visited Italy, China and many other countries.
Rose is survived by her niece, Florence Pellicane of Quincy and her nephews, Francis Urciuoli of Middleboro and Joseph Urciuoli of Pocasset. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Sebastian "Pat", Carmen, Charles, Arthur, Ernest, Mary and Eleanor Urciuoli.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, March 2 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
