Rose F. (Fustolo) Tobin, 89, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Thursday, December 7, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Richard L. "Dick" Tobin. She was a graduate of Stoughton High School and Mansfield School of Beauty in Brockton. Rose was a hairdresser for 70 years. She was also a special education aide at the Dawe Elementary School in Stoughton for 8 years. Mrs. Tobin enjoyed playing Bingo at the Stoughton Senior Center and taking trips to Foxwoods. She was an avid Red Sox fan and her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Rose is survived by her 7 loving daughters, Rosanne Tobin Baptista and her husband Donald and Kathleen M. Austin and her late husband Stephen all of Stoughton, Maureen C. Rooslet and her husband Gregory and Patricia A. Olsen and her husband Harold all of Norton, Marianne DiMatteo and her husband Robert of Chelmsford, Corinne R. Whittington and her husband Richard of Plymouth and Francine R. Leppo of Easton. She was the sister of Lena Capozzoli of Stoughton and the late Stanley Fustolo and Joseph Nardullo. She was the grandmother to 19 grandchildren and is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her dear friend, Avie Florio. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jenni Elizabeth Baptista.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27), Stoughton on Wednesday, December 13 at 10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose's memory may be made to American Lung Assn., 1661 Worcester Rd., Suite 301, Framingham, MA 01701.
