Rose T. (Testa) Sisto, 97, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at West Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brockton on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Sisto. Born and raised in Dorchester, she was a resident of Stoughton for 55 years. Rose was a department manager at Zayre's Corporation in Roslindale for 27 years before retiring over 25 years ago. She was active at the Stoughton Council on Aging.
Rose is survived by her children, Marie Casey-Hulak and her husband Michael Hulak of Hanson, Arthur Sisto and his significant other Lori Duverger of East Bridgewater and Thomas Sisto and his wife Barbara of Norton. She was the sister of Jennie Esdale of Dedham, Anthony Testa of Westwood and the late Pasquale and Dominic Testa, Carmela Fiore, Phyllis Keane and Marie Ceraso. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, May 30 from 8:30-9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in Rose's memory may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
