Ronald L. Leif, 70, died Saturday, July 2, at the Marian Manor Nursing Home in South Boston after a period of failing health. Born in Quincy, he was a resident of Stoughton since 1938. He was raised and educated in Stoughton, a graduate of Stoughton High in the class of 1953. He was also a graduate of Wentworth Institute. He worked as a machinist for Ark Les Switch in Stoughton for many years and has been retired for several years. He was active in the Civil Air Patrol for many years. In addition, Mr. Leif was a member of the Stoughton Auxiliary Police and a call fireman in Stoughton.
He leaves his sister R. Elizabeth Leif of Stoughton. He was the beloved friend of Rosemary Cameron of Stoughton. He is also survived by 5 nieces, 3 nephews and 12 grandnieces and nephews, including Lisa Ann Leif.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-7 PM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Rest In Peace.
