Roland F. Fralick, 83, a longtime resident of South Easton, died peacefully surrounded by his family after a brief illness on Saturday, October 3 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Elizabeth D. "Betty" Roscoe Fralick. Born and educated in Canton, he was a resident of Stoughton for several years before moving to South Easton 32 years ago. Mr. Fralick was a Seaman 2nd Class in the U.S. Navy and a Veteran of World War II. He was a track inspector for the MBTA for 8 years before retiring 18 years ago. He was an avid sportsman and fisherman.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Fralick is survived by his children, Steven F. Roscoe and his wife Kathy of Brockton and Susan M. Roscoe and her husband Roy Beaton of Holbrook, as well as his granddaughter, Jennifer L. Roscoe. He was the brother of John Fralick of Canton, Madeline Smith of Stoughton and the late Edith, Marjorie, Warren, Robert, Evelyn, Louise and Frederick.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday, October 7 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
