Rogerio R. Ambrosio

Rogerio R. Ambrosio, 75, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at home on Thursday, May 13. He was the husband of Maria C. (Serpa) Ambrosio. Born and raised in Flores, Azores, Portugal, he moved to Stoughton in 1974. Mr. Ambrosio worked at Corcoran Shoe in Stoughton for over 20 years before retiring several years ago. He was a member of both the Portuguese National Club and Sao Joao Filarmonica Society both in Stoughton. In his free time he enjoyed playing cards and Game Boy, crossword and word search puzzles.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Ambrosio is survived by his children, Alice Almeida and her husband Joe of Stoughton and Joe Ambrosio and his wife Amy of FL, as well as his grandchildren, Eric, Logan, Lance and Lex. He was the brother of Maria Rodrigues of Stoughton and the late Mario and Laurindo Ambrosio.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, May 17 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-4 PM. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
