Roberta A. "Cissy" (Estella) Walsh

Roberta A. “Cissy” (Estella) Walsh, 95, died Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at the German Center for Extended Care in West Roxbury, after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late John J. Walsh. Born in Dorchester, she was raised in Roxbury and was a graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School. Cissy was a resident of Stoughton for many years. She was a devoted homemaker and mother who enjoyed cooking, knitting, and gardening but her greatest joy was taking care of children and spending time with her beloved family.

Cissy was the mother of Richard J. Walsh and his wife Phyllis “Sam” Walsh of FL and Lynda M. Richard and her husband Scott of Stoughton. She was the loving grandmother of Jason Bumpus of FL, Justin Bumpus and his wife Whitney of TN and Thomas Walsh of Stoughton. She was the great grandmother of Haley Bumpus and the sister of Evelyn Kucinski of Wilmington, Joseph Estella of Randolph and the late Helen Estella and Donald Estella. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 4-7 PM. Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church at 1030 AM. Interment will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery.
