Robert C. Sault, 77, a longtime resident of Avon, died at Blue Hills Alzheimer's Care Center in Stoughton on Thursday, June 24 after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Elaine F. Sault. Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Charlestown High School. He was a resident of Avon since 1956. Mr. Sault was a Corporal in the U.S. Army and a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a heavy equipment operator with the Local 4 IUOE in Boston for 50 years before retiring over 10 years ago. Mr. Sault was a member of the VFW Post 8892 in Avon. He enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City and Las Vegas.
Mr. Sault is survived by his children, Sandra Lynch of Brockton, Mark Sault and his wife Diana of Franklin, Leslie Sault of VA and Sherry Guilbault and her husband Gene of Bridgewater, as well as his grandchildren, Courtney and Ryan Lynch and Nicole Guilbault. He was the brother of Edward Sault.
Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Sunday, June 27 from 2-5 PM. Funeral Service private. Donations in Robert's name may be made to Blue Hills Alzheimers Care Center, 1044 Park St., Stoughton, MA 02072.
