Robert A. Robicheau, Jr., 66, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died Friday, October 16, 2015 after a 6 month battle with Glioblastoma, a form of Brain Cancer. He was the husband of 24 years of Karen A. (Veradt) Robicheau. Born and raised in Stoughton, he attended Stoughton Schools. Bob was a proud Veteran of the US Air Force and served from1967-1971 during the Vietnam War. He worked as a construction foreman for D. A. Bosworth in Braintree for the last 9 years, having mentored hundreds of young men in the field of construction. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed traveling to Maine, hunting, camping, snowmobiling and four wheeling with family and friends. He was a skilled cook, master of fixing anything and a friend to all. His greatest loves were his 4 children who he spent every moment of his life doing what was best for them.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Robert A. Robicheau III, of Stoughton and his twins, Lacey M. Robicheau and Ethan R. Robicheau both of Stoughton. He was the father of the late John J. Robicheau. He was the brother of Peter Robicheau and his wife Diane and Joseph Robicheau and his wife Leanne all of Maine. He is also survived by his sister Diane of PA and Suzanne of ME. Bob is survived by his grandchildren, Joseph and Kathryn and their mother Christine Emerson. He was predeceased by his parents; Robert A. Robicheau, Sr. and Barbara F. (Disnard) Robicheau. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins, including his cousin Ed Robicheau.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-8 PM. Burial will be private.
