Robert D. Pinter of Brockton, formerly of Sharon, died unexpectedly September 26th at age 68 at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia (Thibodeau) Pinter. Born in Brockton where he was raised and educated, he proudly served is the United States Army from 1963 to 1966. He was employed at Certinteed Roofing , formerly Bird & Sons, in Walpole as a Foreman for over 35 years until his retirement in 2004. He was a antique car enthusiast and a movie buff, and was a member of the Club National in Brockton.
He was the loving father of Karra Leonard of Providence, RI., Lisa Guyot of Wrentham and Terri Parrin of Stoughton. He was the brother of Jeanne Snow of Yarmouth and the late Donald Pinter. He is also survived by his grandson Peter Guyot and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday Oct 1st at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church Cottage St. Sharon at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 5-8PM. Burial will take place at Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon.
