Robert Linwood Morrill

Robert L. Morrill, 83, died Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Brush Hill Care Center in Milton after a period of failing health. Born in Easton, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard. Mr. Morrill was a longtime employee of the Dresser Co. in Avon, retiring in 1998. A lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, he was a member of several area gun clubs and, in his free time, he enjoyed skeet shooting.

Mr. Morrill was the brother of Ruey Barnes of SC and the late Edward Martin Morrill. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be held in the Maplewood Cemetery, 950 Pleasant St. (Rte. 139), Stoughton, on Monday at 11AM. Donations in Bob's Memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
