Robert F. McShane

Robert F. McShane, 84, died Tuesday, July 30 at the Stanley R. Tippett Hospice Home in Needham after a period of declining health. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Boston and was a graduate of Boston Schools. He worked as a bookkeeper for many years. Bob was a fan the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and walking.

Mr. McShane was the son of the late Walter and Rose (DesRoches) McShane and was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph M. E. McShane and Gerald W. McShane. He is survived by his nephew Paul J. McShane and his wife Denise M. of Stoughton.

Graveside Services will be held in the St. Michael's Cemetery, 500 Canterbury St., Roslindale, on Wednesday, August 14 at 10 AM. Donations in Robert's memory may be made to the Stanley R. Tippett Hospice Home, 900 South St., Needham, MA 02492.
