Robert P. LaCroix, 68, a longtime resident of Attleboro, died peacefully at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro on Saturday, January 7, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late Eugene H. and Eileen T. (Flanagan) LaCroix, he was born and educated in Attleboro. He was a Class of 1967 graduate of Fr. Judge Mission Seminary High School in Virginia and a Class of 1972 graduate of Stonehill College in Easton. He earned in Master's Degree in Philosophy from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA in 1975. Bob lived in Attleboro for many years and also spent several years living in Boston. He was a customer service representative for Fidelity Investments for 30 years before retiring in 2014. He was an avid organist, playing at various churches in Boston and Providence. He enjoyed reading and studying various subjects, especially Religion and Philosophy.
Robert is survived by his siblings, Eugene E. LaCroix of East Bridgewater and Joan E. Cahill of Colchester, CT, as well as several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins. Bob wishes you all well. God bless you.
Visitation will be held from St. Vincent de Paul Church, 71 Linden St., Attleboro on Friday, January 12 from 10-11 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment will be private. Donations in Robert's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
