Robert A. Kowalsky, Sr., 84, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died in Stoughton on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. He was the husband of the late Helen J. Kowalsky. Born and educated in Trenton, NJ, he was a resident of Stoughton since 1960. Mr. Kowalsky owned the Country Pub in Stoughton for 28 years before retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Stoughton Lions Club and Knights of Columbus in Stoughton. He was on the Board of Directors for STOYAC and was a founder of STOYAC for girls. He enjoyed boating and traveling in his RV.
Mr. Kowalsky is survived by his sons, RA Kowalsky, Jr. and Raymond A. Kowalsky and his wife Diane. He was the brother of James Kelly, Karen Giquinto and the late Ertha Kozak. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on THURSDAY, January 29 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Monday with the TIME CHANGED to 2-6 PM. Interment will take place Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Robert's memory may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
