Robert N. "Bob" Homer died peacefully on October 15th At Copley At Stoughton Nursing Home, after a short period of failing health. Robert was a devoted Husband and has now joined his Loving Wife of 48 years, the Late Rita L. Homer, for Eternity. Born and raised in Cambridge, he was the son of the late John Homer and Victoria Hardman. He is survived by their children, Cindy Homer and Tammy Bowen of Stoughton, Bobby Kelley, Paul Kelley and Karen Kelley, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Jack Homer, Johnny Homer and Barbara Kidwell.
He Lived in Stoughton for 50 Years. Bob was a proud Marine Veteran who served in the Korean War. He was a hard worker who worked most of his life in the auto industry as a Reconditioner at Local Dealerships and for himself. For many years, he enjoyed working out regularly at Planet Fitness. He was a dedicated sports fan, especially supporting the New England Patriots, and Loved the Red Sox and rooting them on to the World Series after such a great year. He was a life long animal and music lover. Bob was a strong man, a dedicated husband and a generous father who was loved deeply and will be greatly missed.
Memorial Prayers and Military Honors will be offered at the Knollwood Memorial Park, High St., Canton, on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 12 Noon. Visiting Hours omitted.
