Robert D. Harlfinger, 45, died at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington on Tuesday, October 21 after a lengthy illness. He was the son of Charles E. Harlfinger of Easton and Linda A. (McKelligan) Harlfinger of Florida. Mr. Harlfinger is also survived by his sons, Matthew Harlfinger, Andrew Harlfinger and Robert Harlfinger, Jr. all of Brooks, GA. He was the brother of Linda A. Vogel and her husband Joe and Heidi L. Harlfinger all of Easton. He was the stepson of Anita Harlfinger and the stepbrother of Gary Hermanson of Boston and Dana Hermanson of Lynn. He was the uncle of Samantha and Zachary Vogel and Skyla Harlfinger.
Born in Boston, he grew up in East Bridgewater and was a graduate of East Bridgewater schools. He resided in Brooks, GA for 15 years before moving to Palmetto, GA a year ago. Mr. Harlfinger was a food processing machinery salesman at T.W. Kutter in Avon for 10 years. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and golfing.
Funeral Service will be held from the Unity Church of North Easton, 9 Main St., N. Easton on Monday, October 27 at 9 AM. Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Sunday from 3-6 PM. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
