Robert M. "Bobby" Freitas, 21, died at Children's Hospital in Boston on Sunday, September 24. He was the son of Caetano L. and Maria H. (Chaves) Freitas. Born in Stoughton, he was educated in Stoughton schools and graduated from Southeastern Regional High School, Class of 2003. He grew up in Stoughton and moved to E. Taunton 1 year ago. Bobby was an electrician for David Anderson Electric in Easton for 4 years. In his free time he was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed camping.
In addition to his parents, Bobby is survived by his sister, Sandy M. Campbell and her husband Mark of Plymouth and his brother, Paul M. Freitas of Norton. He was the grandson of Luis G. and Mary G. DeFreitas of CA, Maria C. Chaves of E. Taunton and the late Angelo P. Chaves and Maria G. DeFreitas. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, September 29 at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.
