Robert D. Donlan

Robert D. Donlan, 63, a longtime resident of Brockton, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 21. He was the husband of 30 years of Paulette F. (Panske) Donlan. Born and raised in S. Boston, he was a graduate of Charlestown High School. He resided in Brockton since 1985, previously living in Marshfield for over 5 years. Mr. Donlan was a project manager for Sullivan & McLaughlin Company for 1½ years after working for Mass. Electric for 10 years and JM Brown for 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his wife in their garden. He also enjoyed skiing and fishing.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Donlan is survived by his children, Grace Kelly Johnson and Jim Donlan both of Brockton. Paul R. Donlan of Peabody and Katharine Simon of Weymouth. He was the brother of Edward Donlan and Monica Donlan of S. Boston, Jack Donlan of Mashpee, Marie Masse of Braintree and the late Andrew Donlan and Joann Ashman. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday at 8- AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Brockton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 3-6 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory may be made to MSPCA, 350 S Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02130.
