Robert F. Clements, 79, died Friday, March 4, 2022 at his home in Bridgewater, after a long period of failing health. Born in Boston, son of the late Thomas and Catherine Clements, he was raised and educated in Randolph along with his four brothers. He was a Proud Veteran of the US Air Force, serving from July 1959 until his Honorable Discharge in 1962. He was a longtime employee of the United States Post Office in Brockton, retiring as a supervisor at age 62 after 20 years of employment. On November 14, 1970, he married Denise Doucette and together they shared over 45 years of marriage and raised two sons, before her unexpected death in 2016. He was a devoted and loving husband. In his free time, he enjoyed vacationing and taking cruises with his wife and family and spending time with his grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his two sons; Todd M. Clements and his wife Jill of Bridgewater and Craig T. Clements of Brockton. He was the beloved Grampy of Rylie and Bradyn Clements. He was the brother of James Clements of E. Bridgewater, Donnie Clements of Randolph and the late Thomas and William Clements. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday March 9th from 4-7 PM. Funeral Services will be private with Interment at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
