Robert John Anderson

Robert J. Anderson, 73, died at his home in Stoughton on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. He was the husband of the late Patricia F. (Gianetti) Anderson. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Roxbury and was a graduate of Boston Trade School. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Anderson was a resident of Stoughton of 45 years. Mr. Anderson was the owner of Diane's Bakery in Roslindale for many decades and loved spending time with his customers. He loved to cook and enjoyed cooking for family for the holidays. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time in his gazebo and watching football on Sundays.

Bob was the beloved father of Robert J. Anderson, Jr. of Stoughton and Theodore M. "Teddy" Anderson of Weymouth. He was the brother of Diana C. Perry of Stoughton and Maureen Van Aiken of Wareham. He is also survived by his sister in law Barbara Taylor and her husband Charles of Stoughton 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, October 26 from 5-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton on Thursday, October 27 at 10:30 AM with burial to follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at 12:45 PM.
