Rita E. Kubler

Rita E. (McLaughlin) Kubler, 92, died at Epoch Senior Healthcare of Norton on Sunday, January 31 after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph T. Kubler. Born and educated in Boston, she was a longtime resident of Stoughton. Mrs. Kubler was a cafeteria worker for Stoughton Public Schools for 27 years before retiring in 1982.
Mrs. Kubler was the mother of Joan M. Haley and her husband Daniel of Mansfield and the late James J. Kubler. She was the grandmother of Colleen Lucier, Kimberley Haley, Kevin Haley and Caitlin Lopez and great-grandmother of Haley Elizabeth Lucier. She was the sister of Mary Alyce Hunt and her husband Thomas of Stoughton, Margaret McGillin of CA and the late James and John McLaughlin. She was the sister-in-law of the late John McGillin, Mary and Ruth McLaughlin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, February 4 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in Rita's name may be made to Easter Seals, 233 South Wacker Dr., Suite 2400, Chicago, IL 60606.
