Rita E. (Willis) Kelly

Rita E. (Willis) Kelly, 86, died Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston surrounded by her loving family after a short period of failing health. She was the wife of the late John G. Kelly. Born and raised in Stoughton, she was a life-long resident of Stoughton and was a graduate of St. Mary's School in Stoughton and St. John's High School in Canton. Rita enjoyed working as a Secretary at the Charmss Collaborative in Randolph and Stoughton for over 27 years, retiring in 2009 at age 80. A longtime Boston Sports fan and music lover, in her free time she enjoyed attending the theater and concerts, listening to folk music and early jazz music, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Rita is survived by her children; Kevin A. Kelly of Stoughton, Kathryn M. Brooks and longtime companion Tim Cruise of Canton, Sean G. Kelly and his wife Danielle of Easton and Brian P. Kelly and his wife Rebecca of Foxboro. She was the beloved grandmother of Ben, Sam, Lauren, Eamonn and Ailish Kelly. Rita was predeceased by her sister Helen M. Crimmins, her brother C. Edward Willis and her son in law Wayne Brooks. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and was devoted to many lifelong friends.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 4-7 PM. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
