Rita L. Homer

Rita L. (Hickey) Homer, 82, died Sunday, November 14, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of Robert N. Homer. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Jamaica Plain. Mrs. Homer was a resident of Stoughton for over 43 years. She worked as sales clerk in the jewelry department at Marshalls for over 10 years and retired many years ago. Mrs. Homer was a loving and caring wife and mother who will be greatly missed.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children; Karen Kelley of Canton, Paul F. Kelley of Stoughton, Robert Kelley of AZ, Tammy Bowen of Brockton and Cindy A. Homer of Taunton. She was the sister of George Hickey of AZ and the late Alice Bandini. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral will be held From the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, November 18 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
