Richard E. Willis

Richard E. Willis, 75, a longtime resident of West Bridgewater, died at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. He was the husband of the late Joan E. (Hampe) Willis. Born in Brockton, he was raised and educated in Randolph. He resided in West Bridgewater for the past 50 years. Richard was a fork lift operator for Shaw's in East Bridgewater for 35 years before retiring at age 62.

Mr. Willis is survived by his sons, Ronald E. Willis and his wife Valerie of Rehoboth, Scott R. Willis of West Bridgewater and Richard E. Willis, Jr. of Fall River, as well as his grandchildren, Daniel, Joshua, Evan, Jennifer and Ali Willis. He was the brother of James Willis of Florida and Beverly Johnson of Brockton.

Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, May 27 at 7 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 4-7 PM. Interment will be private.
