Richard O. Silva, age 57 passed away on December 29, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. Born in Boston but raised in Stoughton, he was the son to the late Barbara L. (Baker) and Oscar O. Silva. He attended Stoughton Highschool and graduated in 1983. He went on to work as a Forklift Operator in the food industry for many years, after which he received a Bachelor's degree in literature from Bridgewater State University. He took care of his parents as they got elderly, caring for them and their properties before they passed. He was musically talented and loved cooking. He played many instruments, with the Saxophone and Electric Guitar being his favorite.
Richard is survived by his sister Katrina L. Brown of Weymouth, and his mother Barbara's friends James and Ivy Weigold and their 3 grandchildren who he was close with up until the end of his life. He enjoyed spending time with them talking about music and cooking. He is also survived by many cousins.
