Richard T. Rudnicki, 63, a longtime resident of Brockton, died Thursday, May 24 at the Caritas St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brockton after a short illness. He was the husband of Jeanette I. (Daley) Rudnicki. Born in Boston, he was a graduate of South Boston High School, Class of 1962. Mr. Rudnicki also lived in Dorchester and Stoughton. He worked as a Service Technician for Pitney Bowes in Framingham for over 9 years, retiring about one year ago. Mr. Rudnicki was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Stoughton and taught Sunday School there for over 12 years. He also was a troop leader for both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Elizabeth A. Rudnicki of Rochester and Thomas R. Rudnicki of Brockton. He was the brother of Edward Rudnicki of Peabody, Joseph Rudnicki of Stoughton and the late Helen Rudnicki. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his grandsons Matthew and Ryan.
Funeral Services will be held in the Trinity Episcopal Church, 414 Sumner St., Stoughton on Tuesday, May 29 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday from 4-8 PM. Donations in Richard's name may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, 02368. Burial will follow at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
