Richard J. McLaughlin, 40, died at the Faulkner Hospital in West Roxbury after a short period of failing health. He was the beloved son of Edward J. and Nellie M. (McIntyre) McLaughlin of Brockton. Born in Stoughton, he was a lifelong resident Brockton and attended Brockton Schools. Mr. McLaughlin worked as a Pressman at the Boston Globe for several years. He was a member of the Easton Rod & Gun Club. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Donna J. Grenier of Middleboro, Jayne M. McLaughlin of FL, Edward J. McLaughlin, Jr. and James M. McLaughlin both of Brockton, Kathleen M. McLaughlin of Taunton and the late Sherri L. McLaughlin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, May 16, at 11:00 AM. Visiting Hours Monday, May 15 from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
