Richard G. Larson

Richard G. Larson, 79, a longtime resident of Easton, died peacefully at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Monday, December 9, 2024. He was the husband of the late Sandra J. (Eldridge) Larson. Son of the late Carl G. and Anna M. (Kempf) Larson, he was born and raised in Stoughton. He was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1963. Richard was a member of the Local 103 IBEW in Dorchester for 7 years then worked for Southgate Electric in Brockton. He then started Larson Electric in Easton, where he worked for 30 years before retiring in 2006. He was a handyman and enjoyed gardening, working in his yard and traveling but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. 

Richard is survived by his sons, Richard C. Larson and his wife Joy of Uxbridge and Matthew J. Larson of Easton as well as his grandchildren, Heather Larson and her husband James Chapman, Rosemary Larson and Christopher Larson. He was the brother of Roger Larson of East Bridgewater and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, December 12 from 4-6 PM. Burial will be private.
