Richard A. "Rick" Beaulieu, 65, died at home in Stoughton on Thursday, October 26 after a battle with cancer. He was the husband of Lois J. (Hall) Beaulieu. Born in Brockton, he a longtime resident of Stoughton and was educated in Stoughton schools. Mr. Beaulieu was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Era. He was the co-owner of Em-Rick Forms Co. in East Bridgewater for 15 years before owning Rick's Concrete Forms in Stoughton for 15 years. He then was the Asst. Night Supervisor at West Lynn Creamery in Lynn for 8 years before retiring in 1999. Recently, he was a driver for Automotive Design in Avon. He was a member of the Marine Corps League, Metro-South Chapter and Nevermore Motorcycle Club in West Bridgewater. In his free time he enjoyed boating, motorcycling, gardening, traveling to Florida, Cape Cod and Maine, watching the Red Sox and Patriots and his dogs, Bruce and Hans.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Beaulieu is survived by his children, Alan R. Beaulieu of Kingston, Pamela J. Beaulieu of Carver, Robert A. Beaulieu of ME and John R. Hird and his wife Paula of Brockton; his siblings, Edmond A. Beaulieu and his wife Maureen of Marshfield and Joanne M. Hathaway and her husband George of Mashpee and his brother-in-law, Kenneth S. Hall and his wife Jean of Plymouth. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, October 31 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:15 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at the VA National Cemetery in Bourne. Donations in Rick's name may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
