Reynold P. "Rey" Ciarlone, 82, a longtime resident of Bridgewater, died peacefully at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater on Saturday, January 7, 2017. He was the husband of Carol J. (Huether) Ciarlone for 45 years. Son of the late Gaetano and Emily (Mancini) Ciarlone, he was born in Boston and raised in Roslindale. He was a graduate of Roslindale High School and attended Northeastern University in Boston. Rey was a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and a Veteran of the Korean War. He was a resident of Easton for 18 years before moving to Bridgewater 30 years ago. Rey was a designer draftsman for various hi-tech companies in the area for over 30 years before retiring 22 years ago. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling and was a past parishioner of Holy Cross Church in Easton and St. Ann Church in Raynham.

In addition to his wife, Rey is survived by his children, Cheryl L. Petroski and her companion Arthur Reynolds and Linda J. Petroski all of Mansfield and Darlene M. Guenthner and her husband Robert of Raynham. He was the grandfather of Paige Andrew Parker, Simon C. Parker, Colby J. Guenthner, Dylan M. Guenthner, Bryan R. Guenthner and Amanda K. Rock. He was the brother of Anita Stathakes of Roslindale and the late Alma DeBaggis, Herman Ciarlone and Robert Ciarlone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
