Reva "The Rea" (Newman) Maddalena, 92, died unexpectedly at her home in Stoughton, on Monday, August 1, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late George M. Maddelena and the beloved longtime companion of George White of Stoughton. Born and raised in Henderson, TN, she was a graduate of Henderson Schools. Mrs. Maddalena was a resident of Quincy for over 50 years, before moving to Stoughton 2 years ago. She was a talented seamstress, working for many years at the Dependable Cleaners and the Decorating Den, both in Quincy. She also had her own seamstress business out of her home. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother who cherished her time spent with her family.
Mrs. Maddalena is survived by her two daughters, Sandra G. Navin and her husband Richard of Weymouth and Patricia A. Milani and her husband John J. of Stoughton. She was the grandmother of Theresa Navin and Corey Navin and his wife Megan all of CO. She was the sister of the late Audrey Newman Stanfill.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, August 5, at 930 AM Followed by a Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-8 PM. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
