Reba J. (Groover) Green, 68, a longtime resident of Brockton, died Wednesday, March 23 at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Leo R. Green, Jr. Born and raised in Jesup, GA, she was educated in Brunswick, GA schools and graduated from Kinyon-Campbell Business School in Brockton. Mrs. Green was a resident of Brockton since 1968. She was a medical secretary at Signature Healthcare in Brockton for 16 years. An avid reader and country music fan, she enjoyed watching cooking shows, especially with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Green is survived by her children, David C. Green and his wife Maureen, Leo R. Green, III and Barbara A. Anderson and her husband Scott all of Brockton, Edward L. Green and his wife Lisa of Whitman, Marie E. Gauthier and her husband Lance of Shelburne Falls and Kathleen L. Meister and her husband James of Taunton. She was the sister of the late Freddy Groover. She was the aunt of Joseph Groover and his wife Kelly of GA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, March 28 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 2-6 PM. Burial will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
