Raymond B. LaCasse, 57, died at Morton Hospital in Taunton on Thursday, March 7 after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Gayle H. (Everett) LaCasse. Son of Marguerite (Lynch) LaCasse of Plymouth and the late Raymond F. LaCasse, he was born in Boston and was a lifelong resident of Stoughton before moving to Raynham a year ago. He was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1974. Mr. LaCasse served in the U.S. Army from 1976-1982. He was a laborer with the Teamsters Local 82. He was an avid sportsman and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. LaCasse is survived by his children, Katie L. Yaitanes and Raymond F. LaCasse, II both of Raynham, as well as his beloved granddaughter, Grayce Helen Yaitanes. He was the brother of Paul LaCasse of Canton, Lauren LaCasse of Lakeville, Peggy Ann Mahoney of N. Attleboro, Lisa D'Andrea of Stoughton and the late John LaCasse. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, March 13 at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 10:30-11:30 AM. Private Interment will take place at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
