Raymond W. Conley, Jr., 54, a resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, January 29. He was the husband of Joan C. (Webster) Conley. Son of Raymond W. Conley and his wife Elaine of FL and the late Barbara A. (DeWolfe) Conley, he was born in Quantico, VA and raised in Canton. He was a graduate of Canton High School, Class of 1974. Mr. Conley was a resident of Stoughton for the past 10 years. He was a Specialist 4th Class in the U.S. Army and a Veteran of the Vietnam Era. Mr. Conley was a glazier with U.S. Emergency Glass in Stoughton for the past 5 years and worked in the glass industry for over 30 years. He was a member of the Canton Town Club and was an avid golfer.
In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Conley is survived by his daughter, Jean M. Conley of Stoughton and his step-daughters, Tara Flanagan of Westwood and Julie Dana of Stoughton. He was the brother of John P. Conley of FL, Michael J. Conley and Paul F. Conley both of Canton and the late Kevin M. Conley. He was the step-brother of Philip Steele and Marianne Steele both of WA. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at the VA National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne on Thursday, February 3 at 1:30 PM. Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, February 1 from 5-8 PM.
