Raymond B. Allen

Raymond B. Allen, 75, a longtime resident of Brockton, died at Boston Medical Center on Friday, February 10. He was the longtime companion of Cis Moore of Brockton. Born in Arlington, he was raised and educated in Stoughton. He resided in Brockton for the past 20 years. Mr. Allen served in the U.S. Army. He was a self employed painting contractor, R.B. Allen & Sons, in Brockton for 28 years before retiring 10 years ago. He was a member of the Republican Small Business Association. An avid Boston sports fan, he also enjoyed playing golf and traveling.

In addition to his companion, Mr. Allen was the father of David S. Allen of Attleboro, Gregory W. Allen of Norfolk and the late Bradford Allen. He was the grandfather of Brad Allen, Kaitlin, Dennis and Krista Moore, Alyse, Lindsey and Kayla Buckley. He is also survived by 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

Funeral Service will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, February 15 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in Raymond's memory may be sent to the charity of your choice.
