Ralph Michael Durling

Ralph Michael Durling, 68, died unexpectedly at his home in Plaistow, NH on Sunday, September 10, 2023.  Born in Brockton, son of the late Ralph E. Durling and Jean E. (Clark) Durling, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Ralph, known as Mike to friends and family, was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He worked as an HVAC Technician and handyman for many years. Mike was a resident of New Hampshire for several years. In his free time, he enjoyed helping his brother at his place of business and spending time with his family and his friends. 

Mike is survived by his two daughters, Heidi Chavez of Winsted, CT, and Shannon Bennett of Plymouth and was preceded in death by his daughter Katrina Durling. He was the brother of David J. Durling of Atkinson, NH, and Maureen Lombardi of Duxbury. He was predeceased by his brothers, Robert C. Durling and his brother James R. Durling, who died the following day, September 11^th. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Ian and Gustavo Durling, and April, Emily, Justine, and Jacob Chavez, and Dylan, Layla, Declan, and Alana Bennett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held concurrently with his brother Jim in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., Stoughton on Tuesday, September 19^th from 4-7 PM. Funeral Mass will also be held concurrently with his brother Jim the next day, September 20^th at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. Interment to will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers donations in Ralph’s name can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
