Ralph L. Anderson, 83, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. He was the husband of 59 years to Frances (Gambrazzio) Anderson. Born in Colville, Washington, he was a graduate of Republic High School in Colville. He was a Retiree of the US Navy, retiring in 1974 after 22 years of Honorable Service. While in the Navy, he was an Airplane Mechanic, retiring with the rank of Master Chief. After his retirement, Mr. Anderson was a Mechanic for Roadway. He was member of the VFW Post 1645 in Stoughton and enjoyed volunteering for the functions there, mostly as a cook. He was named the Master Chef at the VFW. He was an avid Red Sox fan, who, above all, enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he was survived by his children, Kathryn Ross and her husband Frank and Kenneth Anderson and his wife Charlaine all of New Hampshire and Michael Anderson and his wife Lisa of Brockton. He was the grandfather of Daniel, Kristin, Tanya, Samantha, Jason, Katie, Kyra and Nicole. He was the brother of Vivian Davidson and Marylou Adams both of OR, Noreen Ramsey and John Anderson both of WA and the late Jack Anderson. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, November 16, at 11AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 2-6 PM.
