Phyllis B. (Batchelder) Conrad, 90, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Richard S. Conrad. Daughter of the late Ralph O. and Madeline (Fobes) Batchelder, she was born and raised in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School. Phyllis resided in Stoughton for over 80 years before living in Middleboro for several years. She was a homemaker at home with her family. She loved Cape Cod, especially Brewster, as well as cooking and entertaining, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Phyllis is survived by her children, David R. Conrad and his wife Ellen of Easton, Linda J. Makris and her husband Stephen of Mansfield, Deborah A. Tamulionis and her husband Peter of Florida and Daniel L. Conrad and his wife Tracy of Raynham. She was the sister of Warren Batchelder of New Hampshire, Barbara Clifford and Evelyn Buschenfeldt both of Mashpee, Charles Batchelder of Middleboro and the late Richard Batchelder. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Brian Makris and her great-grandson, Maximus Derba.
Funeral Service will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, December 28 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 9:30-11 AM.
