Philip O. Kalweit

Philip O. Kalweit, 44, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on Tuesday, December 29, 2015. He was the husband of Rachel M. (Bates) Kalweit for 11 years. Son of Otto R. and Margaret E. (Limb) Kalweit of Stoughton, he was born in Norwood and educated in Stoughton schools. Philip worked for All Season Tree Service in Stoughton for many years. He was a member of the New England Carpenters Union, Local 624. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, four wheeling, gardening and working on cars.

In addition to his wife and parents, Philip is survived by his children, Kylee M., Alicia P. and Nicole E. Kalweit all of Stoughton. He was the brother of Paul R. Kalweit of Brockton and uncle of Jason Kalweit. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Sunday, January 3 at 5 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 2-5 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Philip's memory may be made to the Kalweit Children Benefit, c/o Rockland Trust, PO Box 93, Stoughton, MA 02072.
