Peter James "PJ" McMullen

Peter J. "PJ" McMullen, 39, a longtime resident of Canton, died unexpectedly at Norwood Hospital on Monday, October 8, 2018. Born in Boston, he was the son of Catherine M. (McMullen) Shea and James P. Shea of Canton. PJ was a graduate of Blue Hills Regional Technical School in Canton. He was a general contractor for several years. PJ enjoyed cooking, movies, playing golf, Boston sports and dogs. He also enjoyed beating family and friends at Words with Friends.

In addition to his parents, PJ is survived by his sisters, Tricia A. Shea and Kelly M. Shea both of Canton. He is also survived by his grandmother, Anna Shea of Dorchester, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and his godbrother, Jason Cook.

Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, October 16 at 7 PM. Visitation prior from 6-7 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in PJ's memory may be made to West End House Camp, 105 Allston St., Allston, MA 02134.
