Peter K. Fountain, 52, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at home on Monday, June 18, 2018. He was the husband of the late Carol M. (MacIsaac) Fountain. Son of Patricia C. (Murdock) Fountain of Stoughton and the late Guthrie Ray Fountain, he was born in Dorchester. Pete was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1983. He was an EMT with American Medical Response in Brockton for over 10 years and also a car salesman at Blue Hill Lincoln Mercury in Canton for 7 years. He was an avid Boston sports fan and a frequent patron of both the Halfway Café in Canton and Town Spa Pizza in Stoughton.
In addition to his mother, Peter is survived by his son, Daniel P. Fountain of East Bridgewater and his stepchildren, Kelly M. Campbell of Pawtucket, RI and Stephen J. Campbell of New York. He was the brother of Paul Fountain of Rossville, GA and Mary Fountain of Rochester. He is also survived by 2 nieces and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton on Monday, June 25 at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Sunday from 2-5 PM. Interment will be private.
