Peter J. Craig

Peter J. Craig, 60, died unexpectedly at home in Stoughton on Wednesday, October 25. He was the husband of Patricia M. (Lynch) Craig. Born in Boston, he grew up in Jamaica Plain and graduated from Boston Tech, Class of 1965. He was a resident of Hyde Park for 19 years before moving to Stoughton 20 years ago. Mr. Craig was a printer at Nimrod Press in Brookline for 25 years before being disabled 10 years ago. He was Past President of Hyde Park Youth Hockey and Don Bosco Father's Club. He made several trips to the Gulf Coast Region to help with Hurricane Katrina relief and was active with the MSPCA.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Craig is survived by his sons, Peter J. Craig, Jr. of Stoughton and James E. Craig and his wife Kelly of Dedham. He was the Papa & Grampy of Samantha, Nicholas, Stephanie and Sarah Craig. He was the brother of Kenneth W. Craig and his wife Patricia of Brockton. He is also survived by his close friends, Fr. Jonathan Parks and Nicholas Alessi, as well as several nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, October 30 at 8:45 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Michael's Church, Avon at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter's name may be made to American Stroke Foundation, 5960 Dearborn, Suite 100, Mission, KS 66202.
