Peter D. Brooks, Jr., 60, a longtime resident of Norton, died unexpectedly at home on Friday, July 7, 2017. Son of the late Peter D. and Patricia M. (Campbell) Brooks, he was born in Brookline and raised in Stoughton. He was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1974. Peter was a resident of Norton for the past 33 years. He was an Iron Worker for 35 years, mostly with Local 7 in Boston until recently retiring 2 years ago. Peter enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the Patriots but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

Peter is survived by his children, Peter D. Brooks, III and his fiancé Jennifer R. Dutra of Norton and Angela M. Brooks and Adam Schaller of Los Angeles, CA. He was the brother of Michael A. Brooks of Raymond, NH, Michelle A. Brooks of Sandwich and the late David M. Brooks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, July 13 at 11 AM (Please note time change). Visiting Hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
