Pauline (Davis) Anderson-Crogan, 77, died Saturday, May 2, 2009, at the St. Joseph's Manor Nursing Home in Brockton after a long period of failing health. She was the wife of Arthur S. Crogan. Born in Framingham, she was raised in Framingham and Portland, Maine and was a graduate of Portland Schools. Mrs. Crogan was a resident of Brockton for over 40 years. She worked as a secretary for Picker X-Ray in Stoughton for 10 years and retired 15 years ago. In her younger days, she was very active in both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts in the Brockton area. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking and knitting, especially knitting baby hats for local hospitals.
In addition to her husband Arthur Crogan, she is survived by her children, Kenneth Anderson of Brockton and Donna Anderson of FL. She was the step mother of Shane Crogan of ME, Neal Crogan of Mashpee and the late Glen Crogan. She was the sister of Paul Davis of Worcester and the aunt of Frances Bain of Ashland. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in Pauline's memory may be made to New England Sinai Hospital, 150 York St., Stoughton, 02072.
