Paula J. Campbell, 60, a resident of Plymouth, died peacefully at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Daughter of the late Walter V., Jr. and Eileen P. (Doran) Campbell, she was born in Brighton. Paula was a lifelong resident of Stoughton before moving to Plymouth 4 years ago. She was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1975. Paula was an office manager for the Massachusetts Trial Courts, working mostly in Brockton and Stoughton for 40 years before retiring last year. She loved going to the beach, Bruce Springsteen and the 4th of July.
Paula was the sister of Suzanne N. Simms and her husband Paul of Natick, Audrey E. Norris and her late husband Gifford of Plymouth, Lisa Campbell Robb and her husband Andrew of Yarmouth and the late Karen A. Campbell and Walter "Vinnie" Campbell, III. She is also survived by her fiancé, James Gibbs of Plymouth and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, June 20 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Manomet Cemetery, Plymouth. Donations in Paula's memory may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
