Paul L. Morris, 89, died Friday, September 12, at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Celia L. (Lazdin) Morris. Born in Boston, he was raised in Dorchester and graduated from Roxbury High School. Mr. Morris entered World War II and served as a Bombardier/Navigator in the 98th Bomb Group. He also served in the Korean Conflict retiring from the U.S. Air Force as a Captain in 1961. Mr. Morris went to work for EG&G in Bedford as a Production Control Engineer. In his free time he enjoyed golfing at Ponkapoag with friends and colleagues. He was also an active outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities. Mr. Morris was a member of the American Legion Post 89 and the VFW Post 1645 both in Stoughton.
In addition to his wife Celia, he is survived by his three sons, Paul L. Jr. of Stoughton, Kenneth J. of Foxboro and Timothy P. of Stoughton. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, September 16 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 5-8 PM. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
