Paul D. Higgins

Paul D. Higgins died Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton. Born and raised in North Quincy, he was the son of the late John S. and Beatrice Higgins. He was a resident of Bridgewater and the longtime partner of Laura Parsons for 45 loving years. He was a graduate of North Quincy High School and went on to attend Northeastern University. He played many sports including softball, basketball and football. He was a veteran of the U.S Army, and was a member of the Military Police in Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. Paul worked for Hartford Insurance Company in Boston for 40 years as Assistant Vice President of Reinsurance Claims. He was an avid reader and had a deep interest for politics. In his free time, he loved watching war movies and old westerns.

Paul was predeceased by his siblings John E. Higgins, Henry Higgins, Beatrice Galbreath and Edgar Galbreath. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27) in Stoughton on Thursday June 9 from 10-11:30 AM.
